Championship Write-Up

Against all odds, we managed to complete an entire fantasy football season!

The playoffs brought everything you'd want and expect. 6-7 records sneaking in, close games, blowouts, and upsets. By winning their divisions, Jenna and Mike earned the first-round bye, leaving Harry to square up against Fowler and Noah to take on Hunter. Noah and Ben won in commmanding fashion, moving on to face the top dogs.

Unfortunately for Mike, his juggernaut of a team chose a terrible time to underperform, as Noah took advantage and moved on to the championship with a 151.02 to 138.61 win. On the other side, Jenna told Ben to take a seat, crushing him by 30 points.

Which brought us to the championship! Noah vs. Jenna for all the marbles. It was looking really good for Jenna early on. Dalvin Cook had a sub-par game for Noah, and David Johnson put up his best numbers of the year for Jenna, but unfortunately for the would-be Queen, Noah has a couple fellas named Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams to call on, and that was all she wrote. Noah took the win 186.44 to 152.55, and claimed his spot as The Armchair Dynasty's first champion. Congrats, cuz!

For those of us who took a big dump this year, we had the Toilet Bowl to contest with. Taylor and myself earned the first-round bye, while Blake escaped by beating Jason, as well as Nate with a victory over Dunbar. I couldn't beat Jason in round 2, sending me to the Toilet Bowl along with Dunbar, where I FINALLY took a win, thus crowning Erik as our FIRST Shit King!

The joke is still on me, though, as I took the undisputed last place position for the regular season with a 3-10 record. Solid. Work. Asa. That comes with my name on the League Loser trophy, but also earns me the number 1 pick. (One of my 3, bitches.)

Thank you to all for a kick-ass inaugural season. I'll have more information coming on next season's draft, the draft order, and how the league operates in the off-season. Let's continue to make use of the Sleeper chat and keep the shit-talk flowing! Here's to the 2021 season!
